Is it just me or do too many adult movies rely on the same stock movements and responses - almost as if they are so intent on giving the audience "what it wants" that they forget what we want more than anything else. To be surprised!!!!!!

Attractive, that is very important, I want all the actors and actresses to be attractive. People I would want to be with. Then a variety is nice. Some people just nailing the hell out of each other, others going a little slower. A variety of positions. And I like more for-play. Going right into oral that leads straight to sex is disappointing.
More then anything I want to see people enjoying what they are doing. There are some times and characters when either one going through the motions is nice, but generally people enjoying the sex.

I know what you mean. It does seem scripted at times, almost to the point you can predict what they're going to do next.

I like to see real people have real orgasms without any spitting or baby whining.

I agree. I am not a big fan of spitting. Nothing agains other people enjoying it, just not for me. And It seems to have become a pretty stock thing in porn. I fail to understand it.
But with that said there are thing I enjoy that others would fail to understand.
