Anyone ever try to re-find videos you lost years ago, but can't remember the titles, directors or stars?

How do you go about even starting a search in such a case?

Where do you look? Are there online indexes with searchable tags? Wikipedia? What are the strategies that have worked for you?

Does the porn have a story line or theme that you remember? Do you remember roughly when it came out? I would start with those. Also, check pornorip.net. You have to make an account, but it's free and lets you download (via torrent) hundreds of porn films for free.

You're going to need someone's name to track the videos down. I would search for actors working during the time period the movies were made. Try the Internet Adult Movie Database, it has headshots of almost every porn star and lists the years they were active.

Thanks! It would be 1990s and I remember a number of scenes, such as pulling naked women out of the ocean with fishing nets.
