Gay rights (marriage, adoption, anti-discrimination, anti-bullying, etc.), women's rights (women's health care, anti-discrimination, working women), abortion choice, and education related issues are big hot-button topics for me. I'm pro- all of those things. A candidate who was extreme right-wing in their view of those things would be a deal breaking for me. If someone who was pro in all of those things but still a Republican, I would definitely vote for them unless their opponent's views were better and still pro all of my "hot button" causes.
