*Didn't know where else to put this, so here it goes...seems oddly appropriate...*
One of the first reviews I wrote was about the infamous Hitachi magic wand from the perspective of a guy using it for himself. Personally, I've had only one success to date but was pretty close today when the bloody thing overpowered me.
There I am, laying in bed, trying to relax and enjoy the sensations on LOW, and then suddenly my whole apartment starts shaking! I'm thinking, no, it's my imagination - it's just my bed shaking. Then I hear things falling off the shelves, I get up and see my apartment really IS shaking!
Being a sensible person, I turn the Hitachi off at this point, and after a few more rattling minutes the building returns to normal. Unfortunately, the groove is gone now, and I'm left mildly terrified of the wand...
So, if you are a Hitachi wand owner, please, PLEASE, be careful and responsible when using it in a 1950's or older apartment building.
(Don't get it? Check the news for Washington DC for August 23, 2011.)
And yes, I really did think at first that it was the Hitachi, a la Tesla's supposed earthquake generator. I spent a good 10 minutes trying to find confirmation from someone online or Twitter.
