I have, but it was more a gag gift than anything. That said, I would totally give a sex toy as a serious gift if I found the right one for the right recipient.

Yes, but it was a close friend. I actually tried to gift my mom an OhMiBod vibe I won once (which is how I came out to her about reviewing). While she was fine (if a little 'OMG, TMI! Why are you sharing?') about it, she said it was weird that I was offering her a toy and that I thought she needed to know what I did. Honestly, I was a bit embarrassed when she wasn't shocked or angry or upset, but just didn't seem to care & simultaneously didn't want to know.

Engagement/Wedding gift. Not a toy really, but a gift card to a local sex positive shop along with penis and vagina shaped gummies. Both friends and not at the wedding, where they got an 'appropriate' gift.

I would do it again, but occasions that allow it rise so rarely. Mostly it has to do with context and audience.
