Fleshlight and Interactive Lifeforms have finally released a new cleaning solution for Fleshlights called Fleshwash. So if water was such an adequate cleaning solution for so many years, why invent a cleaner?

Yeah, that does seem odd. I guess maybe some guys were icked-out by not really being able to "clean" it.

I still think it's a neat idea. I've always been a bit worried about the cleanliness of Flehlights, so I think the cleaner is a neat idea.

Isn't antibacterial soap sufficient, though..? I mean, yeah, why not sell something like this, but it doesn't necessarily mean that we MUST buy it as fleshlight owners...right?

You are not supposed to use soap on on a Fleshlight, only water.

Dammit, I need to go edit that now. HAHA!!! And not use soap again.. but I couldn't help it, it seemed dirty!

Seems like this would be a great idea if you didn't have access to a sink right away. Kind of like other toy cleaners.

The name sounds somehow more pornographic than "toy cleaner" but water seems to work great for Sigel's fleshlight so I dunno.

I am not sure what soap is supposed to do, maybe breakdown the material? BUT, when I was trying to dye that one Fleshlight I used in the modification video... I was amazed by how nothing would stick to the material.

I've got to think that Fleshwash is an alcohol based cleaner with Triclosan thrown in as an extra anti-bacterial ingredient. It gives guys the assurance that what they are using on their sleeve is Fleshlight approved and puts some extra $$$ in Fleshlight's pockets. I'm surprised it took them this long to start marketing the stuff.

If I remember in talking with someone who makes silicone toys, he said Fleshlights were made of soft plastic? He melted one to see what it would do, could explain why no color stuck to it. Basically it's a PVC and silicone mixed or some sort.

Since the Fleshwash obviously does not ruin the sleeves, wouldn't it be safe to assume other gentle toy cleaners could be used as well?

Better yet, why call it something that sounds like what serial killers do on their day off.

Isopropyl Alcohol is perfectly safe to use. Lots of 2010 threads resurrected today.

I'm glad there's a cleaner. It does seem to work better than just using water and the powder, which doesn't really clean at all, especially if there's a mess left inside!!!!!!!!!!!
