Hi everyone! I'm new here. I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.
If I may be so open to ask my first question: is there anyone here who has never had sex? I've been using toys since I was a teenager, but I've never had a sexual partner. I tried dating at one point a few years ago, but it was such a horrific experience, I stopped and never looked back. I'll be thirty this year and am starting to think it's never going to happen for me. I know it seems weird being the age I am but I just never met anyone worth having sex with. I want to start dating again, but I worry I'll run into the same type of scary people, or I'll meet someone decent but they'll think I'm weird because of my lack of experience.
Anyways it might seem like a weird way to introduce oneself but it's also important to know not every consumer of adult toys is or has ever been sexually active.

Welcome to the community - as for your question, I'm afraid I cannot be much help. My 1st experience was at 16 and has been pretty steady now for almost 50 years.

My son uses dating apps but laments that honesty in profiles is elusive. People tend to post what they want others to hear vs. the truth.

Since you have concerns about being inexperienced - maybe religious/Christian dating sites may work better for you - it seems that many have 'saving yourself for marriage' as a stated goal. It's not my thing - but who knows, it could be worth a try.

Best of luck - I hope you can find someone. I can attest that 30 years of sex with my wife is one of the most rewarding things in my life.

I am the Community Manager around here, and I will gladly help you with anything. As I already told you in another discussion, I praise you for sharing your story and I am sure you will find comfort and understanding among our contributors.

My first experience was when I was 20, so I am probably not much of a help here, either. However, I may assure you that there are people who are worth having sex with - you just have to keep looking. There are a lot of creeps out there, sure, a lot of wrong people, but there are many matches - both Tinder-speaking and figuratively speaking. I'd give dating apps another chance. You are polite, sincere and open - that should definitely attract decent individuals.

Another idea - probably a lame one, but still - you should try thinking of something else. The more you fixate on the idea, the less ease you have. Which, in turn, makes orgasm less achievable

I appreciate the encouraging words. I'm always thinking about rejoining the dating world, then I get scared and end up chickening out. But I am still hopeful. I just need to find my courage.
