Hello! I'm new to the EF community, but I'm interested in becoming more active within it and would like to know how to start. I wrote a review earlier and submitted it, but that was before I'd read that it's preferrable to work with a mentor before doing that. So I contacted a possible mentor earlier today, and I was wondering if there was anything else I should do.
I'm New! =3

First of all, welcome to the community!
Kindred had started a great thread on things that he wished he knew when he started, and it has a lot of really great tips for new folks, so I'd definitely read through that.
Second, if you have a question, don't hesitate to ask it! Be sure to utilize the search feature at the top of the screen first; a lot of times a question might have already been asked and then fallen down a ways, so you might be able to get your answer that way. But if you can't find anything, you can start a thread to ask, or skip that entirely and ask a contributor directly.
Third, make sure you're having fun. There's a lot of great things this fantastic community has to offer, so jump on in and have yourself a good ol' time.

Welcome to EF! I am sure you will love like so many of us do.
The thread that Sam mentioned is a great place to start. Also, if you have any questions feel free to ask, most of us are more than willing to help. There is much to do and see so take you time and enjoy the ride.

It's no big deal. I did the same on my first one. I had someone from EF emailing me so I thought that was my mentor! Lol. It's taken me quite some time to figure things out and it's still new to me. I'm glad you are having a good time though! Just as long as you're getting a mentor (if you want) right now then the earlier review isn't a big deal. Not everyone gets a mentor though. It's just personal preference. I did because I had no clue how to get around this site. I'm a writer so the reviews aren't a problem, but if it weren't for having my mentor when I did, I'd have never figured it out! Lol And that way you have someone who you can always ask questions and learn from without having trouble getting a response. Just make sure you find a mentor that seems to fit your needs best.
