How to find threads you've already posted in?

Contributor: Kirsten A Kirsten A
I'm fairly new here, and am still figuring out the forums. Is there a way to see what threads you've posted in? Sometimes I want to go back to a thread and see what other people have said, but don't really remember how I found it. Actually, I'm going to bookmark this thread just so that I can check back here for responses!

Thanks for being patient with me!

There's really only two ways to keep track of threads you're interested in following. The best way is to "favorite" the thread, which you can do one of two ways. If you mouse over a thread title on the forum listing page, you'll see the Twitter and Facebook symbol appear. To their left is a grey heart symbol. If you click the symbol, the thread will be saved under your "Favorite Discussions" tab at the top of the list of threads. You can also find the heart next to the title within the thread itself.

The other way is to mark someone as a favorite contributor. There is also a heart next to each profile name on the forums. When you select it, all threads that person has responded in publicly will appear under your Favorite Contributor tab. Obviously, this isn't very efficient once the person has made a ton of posts.

If it's your discussions, there is another tab just for your forum contributions.

Here is a tutorial thread on navigating the forums: link

There's a tab for My Discussions and Posts at the top of the main thread area.

If there's a post you really want to keep up to date with, you can click the bell with 'set alerts' next to it and it will send updates to your email
