Any advice for a newbie?

I'd definitely suggest the Mentor Program for all new contributors. Not only will a mentor help you with reviews, but should also show you some in's and out's of the site.

Take your time to get to know the site and all it has to offer. There's so much it can be overwhelming. Toys and reviews are a major part of it but there's blogs, mentors, daily news, the magazine and a whole bunch of how to workshops which are really cool. Not to mention the community its self is an amazing group.

Welcome to EF!
To go along with JR's advice (I recommend the Mentor program as well) you could also check out that thread that SexyTabby provided, there is a lot of great info in there.
Have fun, I hope you enjoy.

I'd also really like to get involved with the classes and I am so happy for all the help you guys are offering. Is there anything specifically I should work on to help with my public profile or getting more involved in the community? I am very patient and I just don't know where to start getting involved! It is a tad overwhelming but I am excited!

There's a ton of awesome mentors around here. I would even recommend looking beyond the first two pages of mentors to some of the lesser known mentors that have been reviewers for some time! They'll have fewer students and are eager to help you out! Let me know if you would like any recommendations! Send me a message!

I felt the same way. I started off by the first few days just click and read. I read everything I could. It can be overwhelming just take time to browse. I have found alot of answers the things in the forums too. The mentor program is a good way to start, I just started class with BBW Talks Toys everyone seems really nice and helpful. I'm new to alot more then just this site. Feel free to ask people questions, read blogs/forums.
