Zipping down the road, where to eat, where to eat?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
When you are traveling by car, and it's time for a meal, do you tend to just "drive through" the zillions of fast food places on every off ramp, or do you take the time to stop somewhere you can "sit and eat" away from your car? What are your favorite places to eat "on the road" while traveling?

We always "drive through" for lunches (McDonalds or Subways) and always make it a point to have a nice, restful sit down meal somewhere in the evening.

How about you?

I always go inside to eat on the road, never go to drive through at any time. When it comes to fast food places, I tend to go to Popeyes or Bojangles chicken or pizza places. Don't care for fake food from Mcdonalds or Subway. I do like Lennys subs.

I must say, we just were "zipping" down the road and appreciated the "five dollar foot longs" at Subway.

Depends on the final destination and how far we are from it.
