what did everyone do for your holiday weekend? it is cold and raining here, so we just stayed home. But it gave me a chance to work on my younger sons bed, he has grown out of his toddler bed. (they grow up so fast). Anyway I am about 3/4 of the way done with making his new bed. So it has been a great weekend for me.
How about everyone else. Do anything fun and exciting? Or just stick around town because of the weather or gas prices?

I wrote reviews while my husband worked. Yesterday we went out to visit our car club and see the newest baby in the club, and today after we both get done working we'll be grilling in the back yard.

It is not a holiday weekend for us in Canada this weekend. We did have Victoria day last Monday and I spent most of it cleaning.

Spent the whole weekend in sugar/flour abstinence and willing to kill for pastries, with a few cry-fests over food I won't have anymore. But I'm a stubborn bitch and won't let the sugar addiction win.

But I'll be damned if I have to cook for the family long after I've had my meals and I'm emotionally exhausted on top of it. They can cook their own damn carbs the next time they want dinner much later in the evening.

I went with my family to a friend's place for dinner and swimming yesterday. Today I'll probably just laze around the house.
