Your half-empty, half-full glass...

...what's inside?

I'm wondering if people's glass contents correlate to whether it's seen as half-empty or half-full. When I picture mine, I usually drink the damn thing to avoid any psychobabble on the topic, so I guess that it must of been half full for me to consider doing so. I never really imagine a taste to go with it, but since it's a clear liquid and doesn't burn on the way down, I'm going to assume that it's water. Hopefully not poisoned water.

Edit: I just realized that someone that I was talking to last night created a discussion on full vs empty yesterday, after I'd searched to make sure that this wasn't already a topic! I feel like a complete twit - I should have searched again today, but I didn't know that she and I thought /quite/ that alike! Please feel free to let this discussion die. =)

Well, if we're talking about a literal glass... I always think my glass of milk is half or more empty. But I really like milk

Milk is extra sneaky because it leaves residue on the side while you're drinking it! Even when it's half a glass, it can seem like more.

I think it's a good discussion topic!

I am a half-full kind of person myself. Always have been. That's not to say I don't have bad days, but I never really see my life as being half empty.
