I have had both men and women for bosses and I would rather work for a man. I realize I could be kicked out of the girl's club for this but it is so much easier to work for a man than a woman. I am not sure if this is different for a man. What do you think? Who would you rather have for a boss?
Would you rather work for a man or woman?

With some exceptions, I'd rather work for a man. The woman I work for now is pretty cool (and a lesbian, not a man at all, but also not the gossipy or jealous type in any way) but I'm not crazy about some of the other women who work in our agency's office. A few are OK, a few are... as my father would say, "A real pill."
I usually get along with men better, anyway. Most have no problem with the fact that I come on pretty strongly, and I actually think there are less "Drama" issues with most male supervisors.
Yeah. I'll get kicked out of the girls club, too. With some exceptions, I prefer male doctors to work for and to hire for my own health, as well. (I have a very good friend who is a female doctor, and I'd hire her in a second to be my doctor... if I had any of the conditions she treats. Luckily for me, I don't have any of them. But, if I did, she's be my doc in a second. Mostly, though I prefer male doctors... and bosses.)

I want to work for capable, understanding, and caring people. Their gender is irrelevant to me. Though, like P'Gell I do tend to get along better with men than women, but I try to give everyone a fair shake.

Honestly, after owning my own business for 17 years--it would be really hard for me to choose a sex to work for. I would work for either one, but our personalities would have to mesh.

I've had better luck with female bosses.

honestly i've only worked for men. i currently work for family. which is fine. i get done right (shocker) but i usually do electrical so it's usually a man. i wouldn't mind if it was a woman tho

I have worked for both. As long as they are good at their job, their sex would not matter in my preference for a boss.

I've worked for both. It doesn't really matter as long as we are treated fairly and properly.

I have worked for both. Both sexes can have great bosses or jerks. Depends on the person. Simple as that. Sex never seemed to be an issue.

Don't care, as long as they're good at their jobs, aren't pricks, and pay well.

I prefer a male boss. Less drama in my experience
