Would you rather have been born in the 1980s or the 1880s?

If you had the choice would you rather have been born in the 1980s or the 1880s? for me i'd have liked to be born in the 1980s because of the music and culture. but the 1880s would have been okay, too, i suppose! What do you think?

Definitely 1980s. Can't imagine how I would survive without a proper bathroom, no running water, and using a pit as a toilet!

1980s. There was far more social equality and care for children's rights than could have been dreamed of in the 1880s.

I was born slightly before the 1980's so I've been there. I still regret I was born too late to fully appreciate it. Spending the 1990's as a teenager was fucking depressing.

1880's would have been interesting, but it depends into what class I'd be born into. Not to mention if I'd still be willful and stubborn enough to be a Woman Of My Own. My prime would be the earliest 20th century, though, so at least the start of indoor plumbing will be something to look forward to.

But the disfigurement caused by corsets would be a deal-breaker, despite how much better the styles were for my figure.

While I think it might be neat to experience the late 1800's, I don't think I'd want to spend my entire life there. That being said, I was born in the 1980's, and I"m pretty happy with my life now.

1980s, I wouldn't particularly want to live my life as a brood mare, so women's rights, trans rights, and proper contraception for me.
