In the 1970's and 80's, when we took flying lessons, it looked like "civil aviation" was just beginning to enter a new age of incredible popularity. Then, a combination of dropping commercial air prices, and the high cost of "recreational flying" in a bad economy seemed to "drop the bottom out" of that sport and activity.
How many here would still love to learn to fly, assuming you could afford it (and it was far more affordable then it currently is)?
