Does your work schedule fall in well with your significant others or do you end up just trying to enjoy the few hours you get before the other has to go to work or bed? Such as you work first shirt and they work third shift. I work at a hospital and often have days off during the week where I'll wait for my S.O to get home and only have a few hours before I have to go to bed for work the next morning.

Our schedules are very different. He works mornings or days. I'm a full time student and I work nights.

Sort of...he goes to work earlier than I do and gets off earlier than I do and I could set my schedule to his, but most of the people I work with intricately are available between [X] and [X] so I often am still working while dinner is being made and stuff like that.

We both have the same work schedules but that doesn't really mean we get tons of time together. We work full time 8am to 5pm. When you factor in sleep that doesn't leave much time for us to to be together when we're not cleaning up or getting ready for the next day.

My hours just got cut, and his semester is almost over, so I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of each other in the coming weeks. I'm very happy about that.

We don't see each other everyday. Sometimes its a bummer, sometimes it is great!

My husband is currently stationed elsewhere, but I haven't moved yet because of my job. At best we get to see each other on the weekends.

Well, I didn't vote because it didn't include only one person working. Hubby retired a couple of months ago but does some things on the side. I work from home and have a flex schedule. You'd think we would have all kinds of time but we are so busy with everything else we are involved in, we don't have a lot of time together!

Ours are very similiar and both Mon-Fri. Lots of time together

We go to school together in the same college, so I even see him at school

I always worry about this when dating someone new. Schedules rarely work out similar for me and I always feel like school is enough to keep me too busy for a relationship unless it's casual.

We even carpool
12/03/2012
We have a pretty close schedule, which is convenient
12/03/2012
I'm the only one that works, so it's not an issue

very different work schedules. She only works 20 hours a week or so, so it is not too bad with not being able to see each other.

Right now I'm a stay at home dad.

Ours are pretty similar, but I have a shorter commute thankfully. I have had opposite schedules with previous partners though. That is kinda tough.

My husband works long hours, but I don't work at all. I still don't get to see him much because of how early he leaves and how late he gets home.
12/04/2012
I wish we had more time together!
12/04/2012
No SoO but my schedule is completely off from the rest of the family so during the week I'm like a ghost in the house
12/10/2012
I hate my schedule
12/10/2012
Our schedules vary, so it depends on the day. Sometimes our schedules are compatible.

Definitely in sync

We have different work schedules, are 3,000 miles apart at the moment, and three time zones apart too - it makes for some very challenging 'encounters'! Thank goodness for Google Hangout!

Depends on the season. In the summer we luckily have similar work schedules, but our days off tend to vary. In the winter we tend to have the same days off, but he works nights and I work days. We've worked it out so we see each other as much as we can and get to spend time together. It also helps that we live together.

I work two 12 hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, and he works 3rd shift Tuesday nights through Saturday nights..so I'm awake/running errands/doing stuff at home while he's sleeping...and when I'm sleeping, he's at work.

I always get off first and go to work first. It's a strange schedule.

When he is at work im at home and vice versa but we do get to spend a little bit of time together each night before bed so i always cherish that time.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...

We're together every night and on weekends.
