I usually drink my tea with agave. Sometimes I have it with honey and lemon. I also like iced tea. Yummy.
With tea do you?

PG Tips is excellent. It is so strong, pretty much like coffee. Hehehe...
So, OK.... it really depends on the kind of tea it is.
For instance, Chai: always sweetener, always lots of milk. It's the way.
Green tea: straight.
Herbal tea: depends on what kind. Often I enjoy some honey or sugar, and sometimes I will put a little bit of milk it it to carry the flavour.
Medicinal tea: When I am sick or coming down with something, I often make a strong fresh ginger tea with cayenne pepper, honey, and lemon. Or if I'm sick to my stomache I'll have plain fresh mint tea.
Black tea: this is what I drink the most of. Definitely milk or cream to bring it to quite a light colour. I used to always have sweetener in my black tea, but not anymore. It depends on my mood.
And finally, Booze: Yes! Irish style black tea with whiskey is great! My sister and I drink it sometimes. Basically the booze replaces the sweetener, so it's still got the milk or cream in it.
Side note: I know there's a Russian tradition of drinking tea with lemon or raspberry. I have not gotten into this.... There's also a Russian tradition of steeping their smokey black tea for a LONG TIME so it is VERY STRONG and BITTER then drinking it with lots of milk and sweetener. I do this sometimes, but often it's just because I let the tea steep too long and was working and forgot about it. The flavour of my working girl's tea is over-steeped and cold. I know, it sounds gross, but it's really legitimate. Like I forgot I was making tea, then poured myself a cup and forgot I was drinking it.

I never add milk to my own tea, but my mom does to hers. If I'm sick I always add honey, otherwise I'll add a bit of sugar.
02/20/2011
If I'm drinking it because I'm sick, it's honey, but if it's because I'm out of coffee, definitely cream and sugar
02/20/2011
It really depends on my mood. Sometimes I drink black tea without anything added. Other times I'll all just milk, or milk and sugar, or milk and honey. I'm also really into herbal and fruit teas, which usually don't need anything added to them, but that depends, too. Basically, I like to change things up alot.
02/20/2011
I usually use either milk or honey. Not both at the same time, though.

I LOVE TEA!! I'm crazy about tea.
I currently have Jasmine Green tea, cheap Oolong tea, more expensive monkey pick chinese Oolong tea and black rose tea. I also make my own blend of spices to make my very own chai tea, I got the recipe from an Ashram I visited this past summer.
I drink my coffee black and my tea as it is. The only time I add anything is when I make chai. When I drink chai I use brown sugar and organic soy milk.....mmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm delicious!

I usually use soy milk. I am more of a herbal tea drinker though and do not use any form of whitener for that.
02/20/2011
I drink tea, all different types. Sometime with milk, and always with either sugar or honey depending on what is available.
02/21/2011
I have been drinking more tea, I didn't used to on my own, but with my significant other. He drinks it almost every day. He used to buy a lot of varieties but now he only drinks like two varieties. So we have lots of several types. I don't want to waste it and so I started drinking some more frequently. I usually drink oolong or green tea as we have lots. As I like to keep my weight down, I tend to avoid sugar. Back in the day, we used to dump spoonfulls of sugar in. With chai varieties and some richer teas I might add a little soymilk and half a spoon of sugar, but this is almost never.
02/21/2011
I usually prefer my tea unsweetened but I used to drink sweet iced tea with milk in it sometimes, it seems like a strange combination but I liked it.
Now I don't drink milk at all usually.

02/21/2011
Well, I don't only drink black tea, but when I do, I usually put sugar, and less frequently I put honey in it. If I drink green tea I usually don't put anything in it.
02/21/2011
Depends on what KIND of tea I'm drinking, but yup I do the milk and sugar in my tea thing. It's a habit that sort of got forced on me by English friends, lol. But if it's a flavored tea such as... oh, dunno, Chamomile or Apple Cinnamon or something, then I drink it without anything, or with just honey.

My favorite tea to make besides hot tea!

It totally depends on the type of tea. Delicate green teas or flower type teas without pekoe added I drink without any additives. I particularly love jasmine, mint and other flower teas straight.

I prefer more robust black teas with milk and sugar, sometimes with just sugar and lemon.
02/21/2011
I drink mine with table cream or flavored coffee mate. If we don't have either of those then I use milk and if none of the above are available plain old tea with a little sugar is just fine.
02/21/2011
Sometimes I add milk/sugar/honey, sometimes I don't. I do enjoy masala chai without milk though.

I make the same medicinal tea. I'll leave out the cayenne if I don't have a head cold, but I love the combination of ginger, lemon, and a hint of honey!

Not milk but Coffee Mate creamer. Its all creamy and good... thats how my mom makes it so i dont know any better. Sugar too.
02/22/2011
I don't particularly like tea. If I have to drink it just plain is how I'll drink it. When I'm sick (and bad off) I'll drink hot tea with lemon but not often. Just don't care for it.
03/30/2011
I either use honey or sugar, but never both.
03/30/2011
I will take tea over coffee any day. I just drink it black.

I usually just take mine black - I can't stand to cover up the natural flavors of the tea. However, I'll add honey if I'm feeling a little down or if my throat is a bit scratchy. One of my best friends never takes her tea without milk, but I just can't get behind it.

just sugar and honey.
03/31/2011
If you're drinking good hot tea, there's no need for milk or sugar!
If I'm making sweet tea, though, I make a tea syrup to thin down, and that's deliciously sweet. And if I've got a sore throat, I'll make some hot Luzianne to add milk and honey to- there's no need to waste a good loose-leaf tea by hiding it, so I just use a nice bagged tea when the honey is my main objective.

This is the first I am ever hearing of honey in your tea.
04/05/2011
Like Bunnycups, if I want it sweetened, I'll often add agave nectar, which is similar to honey, but doesn't have the same aftertaste. Most of the time though, I just drink my green tea as is, and my black tea with a little milk or half and half. We make a Ginger Peach Green/Herbal iced tea in the warmer months, but we don't sweeten it.
08/19/2011
I grew up drinking Chai, which has milk and often sugar in it, but no honey. Nowadays I usually just drink it black - I like the flavor, and don't need to sweeten it.

It really depends on what kind of tea. I drink Chinese and Japanese green teas plain, because that's the way you're suppose to enjoy it. If I'm drinking strong English black teas, I'll add lots of sugar and Coffee Mate (cuz my husband prefers Coffee Mate to real cream).
