I typically unfriend people that I don't talk to or that post annoying thing, negative things all the time.

I'm barely on facebook as it is, so even if I thought about unfriending them I'd probably forget about doing it unless I see their updates when I check in.

I don't unfriend at all.

My Facebook is for my actual friends only, so I don't accept friend requests from people I passed in the hallway in high school and that's it.

Unless they're close family, I would (and have) unfriended people if I think talking with them face to face would be really awkward. I've also friended people who were friends of friends and we've gotten along great.

I recently unfriended my uncle because of all the hateful, obnoxious, generalizing political and religious posts that he plastered all over his page.

I can drop someone, but I need a little motivation.

then again that would be pretty eazy to do because facebook is nothing but drama!!!

If people's posts start to irk me. Posting bible quotes five times a day is a quick way to get on my shit list.

I only unfriend if they have a account that has been deactivated and it has been that way for more then two months. Or if I don't hear from someone in a long time with anything. I don't like a lot of people on my fb to begin with. It is mostly family and friends from back home and a couple of people I met thru the years I talk to on there. Oh and stupid posts.

My FB friends are all people I know well in real life. I've probably refused more friend requests than I've accepted. Anything about somebody that might've caused me to unfriend them, I already knew about and didn't friend that person in the first place.

If I never talk to them anymore then there is no point in still being a facedbook friend. I would feel like I am stalking them.

Stop talking to them, have no interest in maintaining a contact for professional or friendly purposes and if they post continuously annoying statuses. There was a person on my FB who every other day were spouting something about god and to pray for this person or that person that they knew. Same pretty much goes for tumblr blogs, I unfollow when whatever they blog about becomes boring or annoying.

I try to purge friends every few months. People I don't talk to, those who clutter walls with crap I don't care about, etc. There's no reason to have hundreds of 'friends' you never speak to.

I unfriend people for posting content I find offensive like sexist or homophobic stuff.

I don't really unfriendly people. Unless they did me wrong, or if they update their status too much and fill my news feed with a bunch of nonsense.

I unfriend people very easily, especially when I am just acquaintances with them.

i play fb games so if they stop playing that is usually my reason for dropping people. or because i added them for a game and then they are juat way to annoying or rude in their postings so i delete them.

I usually go on unfriending sprees every once in a while. I do get rid of those who make their religious and political beliefs a bit TOO know. I'm not religious or political but I just don't like that people who are super religious aren't very considerate to people who aren't but get mad if I make my non-religious beliefs know.

Freshman year of college every time you met someone you friended them on facebook I am slowly but surely getting rid of the one that I don't remember.

I don't have fb anymore.. But I used to unfriend people like crazyyy.. Sometimes just to get their attention..

There are lots of reasons. I have gotten rid of a few frineds because they never sign on, so no need to keep them. I've removed friends because they are too childish and facebook is like their diary to whine about nameless people and how their life is soooooooo horrible(see you still have an internet connection, so you must be not too bad off). Political stuff gets people sorted so I don't have to see it. I live in the south, sad to say when Obama one a friend from work posted her annoyance that "the n***** won"...I think I removed her, dunno.

I've removed a friend beause she posted like 10-15 selfies every day. No really, I don't need to see that many photos of you, in the bathroom, in the same stupid pose, smiling, pouting, trying to look sexy or whatever. If you want guys to think your hot, send it just to them. Want to show off a new outfit, pick one or two that show it off. I don't need 15 pictures of you in the same sweater you wore last week because it shows off your cleavage. I'm not going to tell you you're pretty, in fact I may troll you a bit and tag that you have no bar soap in the shower.

I only unfriend them, if they don't at least have a real profile picture of them, or if they just "like" all the posts, or if they haven't been online in so long.

I only keep friends that are close to me and that I talk to.

I don't stay friends with people I don't talk to anymore.
