Don't have one. Dunno if I ever have.
Had to make a speech once, when I won a photogenic award in this beauty pageant about who my hero was and I made a spiel about my dad - and I do admire him... but I don't really classify that as looking up to someone as one does a 'hero'.

Definitely my mom, she's the most amazing woman I've ever known.

I don't really have a hero, but there are people in my life that I respect, appreciate, am proud of and admire.

I look up to my adoptive aunt a LOT. She had Polio as a child, and now has Post Polio Syndrome. I've learned a lot of really practical life lessons from her about dealing with a chronic illness... and a lot about just being a nice person.

I also really respect my man and all the HUGE life changes he made during 2012. Seriously, I am so proud of him.

My dad, first of all. My late grandfather, because I could totally see why my dad turned out the way he did. My priest. My therapist. And my best friend. All are very strong and independent people who are intelligent and question all kinds of things, are open to trying all sorts of things, don't judge and don't quit. Hubby, too, though I know that sounds sappy.
