I used to live there so it hurts me to see this happened. I am angry and saddened and following this whole story and trial all throughout the day. Is anyone else? The trial just started today but news has been going all weekend.
Who is following the James Holmes trial? (Aurora, Colorado massacre)

I live in the Denver Metro area, it is impossible not to follow, itsall over the news and commercials for the news

I'm not religiously following it, no. But, I do catch it from time to time. I saw when they were listing the charges against him. It seemed as if for the very first moment in time since the inception of his plan he realized just how fucked he is.
The look on that child's face - and yes, he is a child, mentally speaking - I don't know, I think what he did finally sank in at the moment he was indicted.
Though, I'm sure he was thankful for the reprieve of being mocked and ridiculed and threatened by other inmates.

Whenever I see an update I click on it.

I follow it in a thread on a different forum that I'm a member of and occasionally catch an update online.

I kind of follow it in the evening news.

I don't follow these things often. If it's on and I happen to catch some of it okay, but I'm not going to actively keep track of it.

EDIT: Didn't mean to make this a reply.

I don't have television, but I catch a little of it when I am online but I don't go looking for it.

Ditto that. Friday the news station (9news at least) never seemed to break for commercials. I felt bad for Kyle Clark....kudos to him for staying on air over 12 hours..

I am interested in the case but will be more into it when we start to get more facts about him and not as much speculation as to "why"...

I followed at first, but I don't like the press taking advantage of the victims. When a victim's sister's friend's next door neighbor is on the news telling us how a victim "love life and loved to laugh" I have to turn the channel. It's using these dead and injured people to make stories and I hate that.
I'm wondering if the man shot all those people has an organic disorder. He seemed so normal up until the last year or so. I wonder if we'll hear he has a brain tumor or rapid onset BiPolar Disorder or some strange seizure disorder. Not that that defends what he did, far from it, but it would go a long way to explain why.

To be honest, I never heard of this. I however don't watch TV anymore and really don't follow the news unless it's related to healthcare advancement. Regular news is either too depressing or too annoying.

While I am very say by what has happened in Aurora, Co., I will not give any attention to following the trial proceedings. This will take YEARS to prosecute, and I will not give the killer the publicity or attention (which he wants) to his perverted evil! Oh, sorry, (alleged killer).

I'm not exactly following it, it is following me. The trial has been pretty "popular" here too. It is really sad and pretty crazy that you can go out to the movies and not come home.

I have better things to do than follow this guys trial. I feel for the victims and families, but giving this guy any effort or time from my life won't help the situation.

I keep half an eye on it, since I have a lot of friends who went to similar releases. That said, I don't care about the trial so much as hearing about how the survivors are getting better

Sort of following it when I happen to be on the news channels. I didn't know about this horrific news until I was watching CNN news on the plane, it didn't even register at first because I didn't have the headset on. It's awful this happened in Colorado again, after the Columbine tragedy.

When I check the news I find out what is going on. He just makes me so sick to my stomach. I don't even want too see him on the tv anymore.

Nope I'm not following
