I <3 to knit.

I'm saying yes even though it's been a few years since I've knitted at all. And I'm not very good at it, lol, but with the right equipment (my mom has these form things that make it super easy to knit) I can make a decent scarf
01/19/2011
I rarely make anything more complicated than a scarf, but I like it!
01/19/2011
I can knit, not well, and I tend to take forever to finish any project...
01/19/2011
I love to knit, I am terribly guilty of starting new projects before I finish the previous ones though. Current count is six knitting projects in progress plus a sewing project ^_^
01/19/2011
I can knit, but I haven't in a long time.
01/19/2011
I taught myself to crochet once, but I've never knitted anything.
01/19/2011
I also <3 to knit. Its my other passion, in addition to toys.
BluePixi, I see nothing wrong with multiple projects in progress as long as most of them eventually are finished.
So, for the knitters, are you on Ravelry?

I prefer to crochet or tat, but I can do all of it!

Spent the last couple of years working on a 4th Doctor scarf. It really doesn't take long, just me being distracted with other things.

A knitting social network. Ravelry link It has forums, links and pics to every conceivable pattern and yarn. You can look up a pattern, then see pics and notes from everyone else who knit it already.

Once I was asked to duplicate a scarf for someone but I was having trouble figuring out the pattern. I posted pics of the scarf and asked what it was. In minutes several people answered. They were all wrong, but they did steer me in the right direction.
Also, you can mark patterns as favorites or put them in your 'queue' as a way to keep them organized. In the projects section you can record details and pics of your projects. I can't say enough good things about it.
The programming and features on that site are more impressive than I've seen anywhere else. Sorry Neuron Geek!

Years ago I could crochet a little but I've completely forgotten at this point. But I've heard that knitting is much easier and faster so I really want to learn!
01/19/2011
I crochet. I've been working on a baby blanket off & on for over a year now. It's something nice to do when you're bored.
01/20/2011
Right now I am just starting, so I can knit scarves...and that's about it. lol. I'm learning though!
01/20/2011
My mom crochets, but there isn't any knitting in my family
01/20/2011
It is totally knitting season right now.
01/20/2011
I tried to learn. It was ugly. I gave up soon after that.
01/20/2011
I don't knit, but I do crochet.
01/20/2011
I can continue if something is started. I know that much. cant start or finish though. That is when I call my mom over LOL
I want to learn and I meant to stop last week to grab some yarn to learn crochet from youtube (at the suggestion of other Efers) and then from there also teach myself the rest of knitting

I wanna learn
01/20/2011
I have always wanted to learn but for some reason it seemed intimidating.
01/20/2011
My dad tried to teach me when I was younger, but it never stuck. I'd love to learn tho, I just don't have the time to really put any real effort into learning or making anything right now.

I knit! And I totally third ravelry! Making a lovely baby blanket from a pattern there, it has a subtle pattern of wine bottles. Hopefully the parents think it's funny
