I just tossed out the bunches of old "two D cell" flashlights we had at work...would run MAYBE 30 minutes on a set of old D batteries. We got $8 LED lanterns that are TEN TIMES as bright and now, will run ALL NIGHT on the same set of batteries.

Anyone else taken the plunged into the exciting and practical world of LED flash-lighting?
