While shopping in an adult store, will you ask for help if the store employee is of the opposite sex?

Just a curious question.

Me? I'm not shy and I'll ask no matter what sex the employee is.

Sure, but I rarely see male employees in the sex stores around here.

Absolutely not. But then again, I do not even bother going into adult stores anymore. Just can't really get comfortable. There's too much going on. I love the joys of online, private shopping from behind a computer screen! Lol.

I probably wouldn't ask any questions, I'm not as comfortable doing that in person as I am online. My fiance though, he was having a conversation with the woman working at one the last time, that's how we got the We-Vibe 2. He just doesn't care where I'm shy about it.

I would if I was in our local store. All of the employees (both male and female) are professional and helpful. If I was somewhere else I would probably be more cautious.

Probably, these people are employed in the adult industry, so who is to judge???

I probably wouldn't ask any questions at all but if I had to, employee gender wouldn't matter to me.

I'm not sure. There are always women in there, so I've never had that problem.

There does seem to be very few men working in adult stores. The couple I've met have either being over the top flamboyantly gay or really creepy. For some reason women never give off that creepy vibe in adult stores.

The only person that I wouldn't ask is someone who looks creepy, regardless of gender.

I'd ask. I'm sure they're used to it.

Yep. I'm queer, so if I avoided asking sexual questions to the genders I'm attracted to, I'd never have anyone to ask questions to.

I have no problem with it. I tend to ask woman for help with toys, and men for help with porn. I don't really care, as long as you can answer my questions.

I haven't really had this issue since I don't go to adult shops anymore and the few I have been in the staff wasn't helpful.

Usually, nooo. If I see something I have questions about, I come home, jump on here, get my answers and buy it here.

If I'm just wondering if they carry something, I'll ask. Any more detailed than that, I'm shy!

Generally I seem to know more about the toys than the clerks though that is just the area...we are kinda backwards here still. If I had a question i have no problem asking a male clerk.

I feel the same way. When I worked at my local sex shop (oddly enough it was the most knowledgeable one around) I seen so many situations where they were giving false information to customers. It drove me nuts! Not many of them actually used sex toys regularly either. Didn't help that MOST of their toys were jelly or some other nasty material. They had some silicone but that was really just in their LELO vibes. Maybe 2 silicone dildos. The owner tried talking me out of buying online but truth be told, even with the 25% discount she offered, I still got better deals online. Needless to say I didn't actually buy toys from there.
