I love facebook, I am not on it all the time like some people i know, but i love being able to connect with friend and family out of state with out phone calls and kids in the background yelling lol..

I lived without electricity for a while, so not having Google doesn't scare me.

For my psychology term paper, I actually only used books as my sources. I don't get a lot of it on-line any more, and if I do, it's usually a database search.

I'd miss Google for fun stuff, but I could survive without it. I remember a time where people used Yahoo! or Ask Jeeves, haha.

I don't use google and I only facebook every couple of days. I'm not real big on spending much time on FB, but I like to keep in touch with old friends. Other than that, I wouldn't be too sad not to have either. I'd still prefer having FB though since some of my friends, I don't see often.

Google is okay I guess, I have only ever used it as a search engine. I use Gtalk only because my friend prefers that with his phone for text purposes. Facebook can go suck it imo. I've never really enjoyed it that much.

I've done a couple of breaks from the web, mainly because I'm on a road trip without much in the way of internet connections (just try to get wi-fi in Blank Stare, Missouri). I know I can live without any of it, especially if I'm not in school. But it's damned easy to get addicted to it again.

I would mind to much if I didn't have facebook anymore. But I love google! I've never used anything else! Exept on my sis's computer but that was awful.

I don't think I've ever even looked at Facebook more than once or twice. Social networks in general don't do much for me. And while I wouldn't "go crazy" without google, I do use it a lot.

I have had to go without the internet for long periods of time, so I know i can do that, but I much prefer to have it.

Same here, especially when arguing with hubby about something that google can crack the case on.

He tried to tell me that Double Jeopardy doesn't apply to all states. Seriously Double Jeopardy is part of the 5th amendment!

I've survived for long periods of time without Facebook, I've only recently returned because that's where all my friends are and it's difficult to stay in contact otherwise. I don't think I could live without google, because I can't live without getting the answers I need!!

We need Google, not facebook. I have a facebook account, and it actually gets kinda boreing. Facebook is a geat site to chat with friends, but with all the other social sites we have, I think we could live with out facebook. Ha.

I tend to forget I have a facebook for monthlong stretches. When it first came out and I was new to college I liked it for meeting up with strangers from classes to do homework, but after the first year of college when I knew enough people to form study groups it's just kind of steadily lost importance in my life.

Google---I use all the time, but I am confident that if it was to evaporate I would still be able to function. Although I'd hope they would give me a day's notice to make a copy of all my emails.
