I've been having a Lord of the Rings marathon today, and it's got me thinking about old cultures. Which of these do you find to be the most interesting? (Sorry if some of the names aren't quite accurate, I'm not much of a history buff, haha.)

Ancient Greece and Rome were always my favorite to learn about.

I'm interested in all of them. It's probably why I'm a traveler and linguist.

For the most part I just like history. But I do find myself drawn most to ancient Greece and Rome.

I am interested in them all...but I do have a minor in history and have been a history teacher

Not awake yet - I meant to check Celtic, Medieval Europe, Viking, Other (I got only the first two). The "Other" would be Colonial America - European settlers up to the formation of the United States.
Ben Franklin to John Adams: "Don't worry, John. The history books will clean it up."
Celtic because of heritage. Medieval Europe because of a series of circumstances that no one will believe. Viking because of heritage and interest in Norse mythology.

I like a lot of them and am really interested in history.

I voted for Rome but I'd really love to see the pre-historic cultures that built the Sphinx, Stonehenge or Gobekli Tepe.
03/06/2013
All of them
and just as a note the Renaissance isn't a culture - it was a period or movement / era however you want to name it

Ancient Roman because of my fascination with archaic warfare and Celtic because I am about as Irish as you can be with being born in the US. That includes dual citizenship.
