Can't make myself eat white anymore. Used to get white just to make french toast, as that was the ONE THING I needed to be made with white bread, but now I can't stand it.

Just like when I started eating Annie's mac and cheese...now Kraft tastes like plastic. Gross.

I prefer whole wheat bread. I grew up eating it, so I prefer the taste, plus it's healthier.

Sidenote, I don't understand why Americans call it wheat bread, because white bread is wheat too. Where I live (Canada) we call it whole wheat or brown bread.

Don't know how ciabate classify or even if I spell it right.
Either way, I try eating less bread and stuffs like it.

You could be allergic to an ingredient. Hell, some are allergic to water.

My son has Celiac's disease so everything he eats has to be gluten-free. Meaning no wheat, rye or barley or anything made from derivatives of either of them. So yep, he's allergic to bread, highly.

For myself I prefer whole grain breads or multigrains. I can't stand white bread but I'll eat it if I have to.
