Which browser is your favorite? :)

Contributor: DreamWolf DreamWolf
Let's list the common ones...

Internet Explorer is knownly the most horrible of them all, not only because it is spied upon, but it also has weird scrips and just a true pain in the ass to code any websites going good on it!

Firefox is an extremely popular and reliable browser, though the many add-ons can make it pretty damned slow, especially if you skin it up and other techie-Nightmare candies...

Google Chrome is advertised to be the fastest browser, though it is the slowest on my system, and I could scream while I have to wait for the tabs to load up, so shame on you, Google!

Opera is smooth and simple, though it looks like barely anyone uses it... (I do... So far the fastest for my system... ^^)

And there are versions of some of them made more simply, though I wonder why I don't wish to clutter my space to check them out too...

And of course SeaMonkey, LunaScape, and maybe some are still around, Netscape and other way old common surfing apps...

What browser do you use, like to use?

I use and love Firefox but once in a while I use IE with it to play the same game on different servers. (not in a cheating way, just can't access both servers on one browser)

IE9 is actually quite good, just not as customizable as Firefox, great ratings on security and memory usage. Chrome is a memory hog, but I do use it occaisionally. I try and run 64bit versions so that limits it to Waterfox and IE9.

I've been a long time user of firefox, and generally like it just fine. Having adblock plus is one of the joys of using firefox. I'm forced to use IE7 at work for a couple things because they aren't compatible with anything else, but I always run both and use IE for work related and firefox for personal browsing.

I use FF and Chrome. FF makes me want to stab my eyes out, it's so slow. I much prefer Chrome. I'll also go into Safari and Opera occasionally. But I have to test websites so that's why I use a lot. Also have IE on PC (ick!).

I always used firefox exclusively, but lately I've had some issues with it. So now I use ff occasionally, ie for work (though it pains me to do it), and chrome most of the time.

I use Firefox mostly out of my allegiance towards open source software (and also to sync up to my Linux netbook), but I would say Opera is my second choice despite it being closed source. I never cared for Chrome and refuse to use IE on my desktop.

Firefox also has some of my favorite add-ons, like AdBlock Plus and NoScript.
