Well sometimes it's separate. I'll put some aside for a particular bill or other expense that I definitely need or plan to pay so that it's not mixed in with the money I'll use for just my everyday things. Or if I'm planning to go shopping for something I need, I'll set that bit of money somewhere at home, and leave the rest in my purse. The money that isn't reserved for bills and things I already plan to purchase goes in my wallet for the everyday purchases.

I put on a pair of jeans, today I haven't worn in a while and found a five dollar bill in the pocket! But, I usually keep a small amount of money in my wallet in my purse. I don't carry a lot of cash. It's not safe.

It is usually in my wallet which is in my purse, but sometimes it just sits in my purse or my pocket.

I also keep some in a jar at home in the bedroom.
