My house. Used to be a friend's house but with the delivery date calculator, I can actually plan orders to arrive by certain days, which is very handy.
Where are your toys mailed to?
08/18/2010
I have them sent to my house and If i happen to be visiting family I have it sent to where ever I am. Pretty much everyone knows I review toys so it's not big deal.

I don't think it's so funny, (and my little one gets the mail sometimes.) But, they don't seem to stop sending them, no matter what I do.
I am SO glad Eden (and at least one other high end toy site) doesn't do this. less

When I'm staying at parents' house they get mailed there. When I'm away at school, I get them mailed there.

When I'm home for summer or for vacation, they get mailed to my parents home.
When I'm at school, or about to return to school, they get mailed there where they go to the mail room and get picked up by me on my way to class.

I got them sent to my parents' house when I lived at home-- I was just very careful to get to the mail first when I knew a package was coming. Now I live with my fiance, and I get them at our home.

My house, which is my parents.

I ship them to my personal home. Since Eden is very good with not having anything suspicious on the box, it's easy - except when I get a package it's 'OH COOL WHAT'D YOU GET?' I just say 'uh, a site sent me something' and walk away, haha. They know that I get makeup and sex toys in the mail a lot, so if I kind of ignore them, they stop asking.

I can't believe some companies would do this. If they're going to send them, they could at least be in a private envelope. Some people are VERY private and like you said, a lot of kids like to get the mail. I know I did when I was little and I still do!

Right now I live away from home at school, so, my toys are sent here. I would never want my toys to be sent to my house. I can't imagine my mother's face when she opens up the box and find a vibrator. I don't know if she would know what it is.
10/20/2010
Here at my place. The UPS guy now knows which way to turn from the elevator to get to my apartment. Too bad he isn't pretty.. it would make receiving the toy even more exciting
10/20/2010
I'm giving the post office one last shot, and if they screw up this time, I'm opening one of those post office box type deals withe fake street address in a nearby town.
(The post office as a whole is not evil, just the branch in my home town. And they don't just make the arrival of toys a nightmare, they also cause grief with boxes of books from Amazon and stuff. Evil.)

I live with my parents so I have my packages delivered to their home.

the ups dude usually misses me, i live in a gated complex so i often end up driving to the depot to pick up my toys.
10/21/2010
My personal home and my adress is horrible. UPS always get screwed up bcs its a house divided into appartments and we all have the same adress but different doors have different letters. I always have to remind them to knock on the front door. Poor UPS delivery lady.

I send them to my parents house because they don't look in my packages. Though, my mum knows I do contributing for EF. So generally, she doesn't WANT to know what's in the package. She just will say "Hey, you have a package"

Same here. Sometimes I get my shit sent to my father's house, but he doesn't open my shit. Plus, the packaging's so discrete, there's no giveaway so I don't worry about it much when I do have it sent over there..

I still live at home with my dad and get them shipped there. Usually they're quite small packages so the mailman can fit them in the mailbox (we have a big honking mailbox!) and I can run and check the mail and snatch up the packages before my dad notices. The bigger packages, the mailman has to deliver to the door and he knocks on the door and insists on handing over the package. I'm grateful for this because I'm assured that there will never be an abandoned box on my porch if my dad is out of the house. However, for a while during the summer, I was receiving a lot of boxes in a row and my dad was like "Whatcha goooot? How are you paying for all this?!". This is when I cooked up my story about receiving free beauty products in the mail from Sephora to review

Either our apartment or my parents house. Depends whether I'm there visiting or not.

I'm sorry, that made me snicker. Just thinking of the joyous look on a child's face seeing a package... from EF. Thank goodness for discreet shipping indeed! If my son were old enough to care (he's one and a half) I would probably have the same problem

Boo missing packages. That has happened to me a few times (never Eden packages). I live on a busy street and when my packages get left at my front door or outside my back gate (ah!) they sometimes disappear. No fun.

The boxes are so discreet nobody asks about them. I just moved so I hope the new room-mates don't ask too many questions.

I have toys sent to my dorm room, but that is mostly because I am here so much of the year. And the summer just goes by soo fast to be concerned with ordering and hiding toys.

Oh. I would never open someone elses mail or packages. I don't open my own children packages or mail. My middle dd's bf had something delivered here (at our house) once, because he couldn't trust his family. I have NO idea what it was, but I said OK because I wanted to be trusted.

Hasn't happened so far, and the chance is small, but I get paranoid that his grandma will open a package and see this huge cock! lol

It's so sad that your MIL has to hide her toys from her husband. So sad to see that some women feel so oppressed that they can't share.
My Man gets excited when a box comes. "What's in the box?" Order from Eden came the other day and he was home, and he wanted me to open it right away, and things were going on and kids were expected home. So the minute we got into bed that night he said, "Let's see what's in this box." We opened it, there were about 8 or 10 new toys in there and he said, "Let's play with all of them." Then attacked me. I had to fight him off just to get into the bathroom and wash the stuff. LOL!
WOW. We had an interesting night.
Is there anyway that your man's mom can talk to her husband about her needs? I feel sad when anyone has to hide things that make them happy from the person they are supposed to be Life Partners with. Not that it's my business, but is her husband really sexually conservative or just.....what?

We're living with a friend right now and just use his P.O. Box. With the discreet labels and priority mail packages it's not an issue at all.
11/03/2010
I have them sent to my house. If it's USPS then anything not small enough to fit in the mail box I always ask our post office to hold for me and I just pick them up. My mailbox is a mile from my actual house so I don't like leaving anything out there.
