It really depends on the sport. I was picked pretty early for soccer and football. Basketball and volleyball? I was picked last because I was not quiet about how much I hate playing those sports.

Somewhere in the middle.
For basketball... I was always picked first. For at over six foot in grade six/seven... they still had the hoops lower for people had not really started growing yet and they just stood me beside the hoop, threw me the ball and I reached over and put it in.
For other sports... it was somewhere in the middle. I wasn't good at sports, but I wasn't bad either.

Always last one picked. I was never athletically inclined growing up back then plus had years of knee problems so can't really blame the kids, its just the way it was.

I was terrible at sports but wasn't one of those outcast kids, so I was usually picked towards the end but never the last.

I wasn't first, and I wasn't last. I was middle...because my friends were sports-oriented. In all actuality, I should've been last based on my ability.

I was in the middle. I was close to first for football and baseball/softball, because those were my best sports. For basketball and soccer, I was picked later.

Somewhere in the middle for most sports, but higher picked in volleyball, dodge ball, and tennis.

Definitely one of the low picks because I didn't care to play anything nor did I attempt to try.
In kick ball, I let the other kids bypass me in line and would be at the end so I didn't have to kick the ball...if I was out in the field, I chose the area where the ball most likely wouldn't go.
In dodge ball, I hung out in the back by the wall and would side step incoming balls.
In basketball, I was an awesome shot. I played that game pretending to chase the player with the ball.
This was me in volleyball:

You can imagine how I was with other team-based sports... No interest what-so-ever.

I was pretty much always in the middle.

I rarely participated in high school because I didn't want to get all sweaty and nasty and be that way the rest of the day. I guess me and my friends were a little prissy in that way. If we at least changed our clothes then the teacher gave us a B for the year.

It totally depended. I was a BAMF at hockey and anything hitting something else with a stick, but at 4'11" I was never picked for basketball!

Not athletic, and I went to a smaller school where I had few friends.

You mean when the other kids got to pick who they wanted on their teams? Usually I was picked somewhere in the first to the middle. That was the only thing that kids were ever picked for when it came to gym in school. The coaches didn't pick us for anything. But if they did, I'd have been last. Lol. I hated gym! In middle school, it was fun, but I highly disliked the exercises they required you to do WITH SHORTS ON! STRETCHY shorts, no less. That made most of the girls extremely uncomfortable, especially since it was very common to have your stupid stretchy shorts jerked down. Ugh. Why must we HAVE to wear shorts if we're going to be sprawled out on the ground with our legs apart?! I sat out every single day when I was in Pre-K up until the 1st grade. LOl. But in middle school, they began requiring it.

I was picked in the middle!

I was usually picked towards the last... In my younger days, I was quite overweight.. Sooo no one wanted to lose with me on their team.
05/25/2013
Tall and skinny, normally more middle pack.
05/25/2013
anywhere from the middle to the end of the pick. But I always hated sports anyway.

In middle school and high school, when I went to school then they went by each grade and it usually started with the highest grades first. The lower grades always got something they did not want.
05/25/2013
I never participated.

It really depended on what we were playing. I was ALWAYS first pick on volleyball, archery and competitive gymnastics but last for football, soccer and baseball. Other sports were somewhere in the middle.

always last, hahah

I was chosen last everytime. The students HATED me with a passion. I don't even know what I did O~O

I wasn't picked first but I wasn't particularly interested/good at sports. I was usually picked towards the end.

I was always picked last (or close to it).

I was usually picked in the middle, sometimes towards the end. But, depending on the sport, I didn't participate because of health issues. Once I got to high school, I had a medical exemption from all gym classes, (same with college), which was nice, it gave me an extra period to study for exams!
