When I think cookies...I open wide, lol! They are one of my favorite treats. I don't like cake or brownies, but crispy cookies are my favorite. Usually I am disappointed by store bought ones, but I have found some "gourmet" ones that are out of site delicious -- Cookie Brittle (the plain flavor). The only soft cookie I can think of liking are coconut macaroons. Not that you asked any of that, lol!

For me, it means pastries from a particular bakery in Cali -- Sugar Bowl Bakery -- I love their buttery Madeleines and Petite Palmiers.

Am I the only one who thought of computer-related cookies the moment I saw this post?

First thought was computer cookies like V&C.
Next thought was the pack of Chips Ahoy downstairs.
Thinking further, the Otis Spunk Meyers cookies I used to fresh bake and sell at my former café.

We honestly do them all, depending on time, and mood.

I normally buy the cookie mix in the stores in the bag or box. ;w; We don't have the money for actual homemade! I wish we did, I would have loved to make homemade cookies.

This is tough... depends just how lazy I'm feeling.

From scratch are best!
11/03/2013
Always reminds me of home made!
11/04/2013
Or the store-bought bakery ones - those are delicious too!

....for me, maybe. Only if I get it really right that day. My baking is so hit or miss. Sometimes gourmet, sometimes the dogs go running before thinking of taking a bite!!!

I much prefer making my cookies from scratch but I will admit sometimes when I'm in a time crunch I just buy the pr-emade mixes that you only add a fwe ingredients to and cheat that way. The only time I buy roll or break apart cookie dough is if I have absolutely NO intention of even going near the oven with it lol

Cookie is my nickname, so I first think of me! but otherwise I think of bakery ones, I'm terrible at cooking so I never make them

I like home made cookies and store bought, depends what i am in the mood for. Sometimes and oreo or a chips ahoy cookie hits the spot, sometimes you just want something fresh out of the oven.

Toll house cookies, and sugar cookies from scratch now that's its getting to be holiday season. I like to do cookie exchanges.

Storebought cookies first and foremost, but if I'm at home I'm more inclined to bake.
Though honestly the first thing I thought of when I saw the word 'cookies' was the web-browser kind ;P

Pillsbury all the way.

I'll take them any way they come, but the best by far is making them from scratch (on a side note, from scratch is a bit of a misleading term. To me, it means you did everything from growing the wheat and churning the butter right down to the final baking.).
Which reminds me...I've got to pick up some vanilla for my Christmas cookie baking spree!
