Carmmmmelllllll!!!!!! However, I don't prefer boxed chocolates. I like plain old dark chocolate best and I am not as big of a fan of all the fancy smancy stuff!

Cherry cordials! I love those if they're made well. Plus my family doesn't like them so I always get them whenever anyone gets a box of chocolates.

Depends. If I'm sharing and it comes with a chart that shows which are which I'll go for a caramel or truffle. If it doesn't and I'm sharing I'll take a plunge and just go for it. If it's just me, I'll take a nibble of everything.

I decided to make most polls anonymous to get more uninhibited answers & to cut down on the bulky lists of names as more people answer. If it's a really innocuous topic that I'm sure no one would have a problem with, I might do otherwise, but I guess it's just my default choice unless there is a good reason for it not to be. Same thing with allowing multiple choices most of the time, even when I ask for a single choice; many answers were about how someone couldn't choose, so I decided to just let them choose all of the answers they want.

I am actually not a fan of chocolates with fillings - I strongly prefer plain milk chocolate. Even when choosing commercial chocolate bars, I tend to go for things like Dairy Milk and Aero bars. I stick all of the dark chocolates in a tupperware container for cooking (because while I won't eat it, I will shave it on to desserts), then go for the plain chocolate. I'll do flavored chocolates after that (unless they're orange flavored specifically, in which case they come before plain), then the ones with caramel bits. After that come the ones with mint or caramel inside. Nuts come last. Anything with fruit filling goes to someone else.

Whenever I get chocolates I usually tell them I'm vegan or offer to 'share'. I don't eat chocolate unless it's dark chocolate and has no milkfat in it. Most people who buy me chocolates know to look for that kind though now.

It's never the same. I study the little map like there's going to be a quiz and go from there. The coconut ones go right to my husband who may or may not eat them depending on his mood.
