I bring my own chocolate, I'm not paying 3$ for a candy bar! I always get drink and sometimes popcorn. We went tonight to a 3D movie and it was over $18 and a large pop and medium popcorn and it was about $11. It's ridiculous.

I only eat something if my blood sugar is low. I take my own snacks for that reason only. I don't buy anything there.

From the answers so far, a lot of people bring their own snacks because of the expense. I should have asked, HOW DO YOU bring in the goodies? Us guys have small pockets, but maybe women have large purses! Who knows, but that would be interesting to know.



Has anyone ever been CAUGHT bringing in their own snacks?

I love movie nachos. They're stupid expensive though, so sometimes I don't get them. That's the only thing I'll ever get if I go. I rarely go to the movies.

It's been over 6 years since I've been to the theater. I would either eat chinese food before going or get the nachos, drink, and popcorn while there. I have been known to take my own items in to the theaters.
