We only really get appetizers if we're out with a bunch of friends. When it's just the two of us, we just get a meal. I prefer avoiding appetizers since they aren't necessary and tend to be pricey.

I never do, unless I'm with a group of people who insist on having a starter, then I just get some garlic bread so I have something to nibble on while I wait for my main course.

no, unless we are in a bar getting happy hour. Then all we eat are apps. There are some good bars and restaurants that have great happy hour for cheap in town, so when we dont have the kids we will try to go to one of them.

Sometimes. Depends who I'm out with, where we are and how long we're there for. I went out once with a friend from out of town and we ordered appetizers one after the other all night. It was a really lovely time
