I used to spend a lot of time doing both, now it's hit and miss. I check when I'm bored and see if anything new and interesting has been posted in the forum. Not many new items I'm interested in so the shopping side has take a backseat as well.

I always look at the sales to make sure I'm not missing a good deal on an item I want, but then I usually head to the forums.
