We noticed some people get "into" the drama themselves, others walk away, some just try and call the person on it..."oh, it's not that big a deal"...etc. How do you handle those "scenes" no matter what they might be about?
When someone in your social circles goes into "drama" mode, how do you handle it ?

All of the above? It depends who is melting down and if there is a reason for the meltdown.

All depends on who and what about but honestly for most people I simply tune it out and eventually they calm themselves down or realize I am not dealing with it and change topics

I'm pretty good at being the peacemaker and everyone knows it, so they all seem to come to me for help.

As long as it isn't family or close friends, I tend to just ignore it.
If that particular person keeps it coming every day though, I've made it a habit to go and take their posts off my newsfeed (on FB).
It feels...a bit much to unfriend someone just for that, but taking it out of the feed makes it easier to deal with without hurting the person's feelings.

Sometimes I just listen. I usually try to tone some.

Ignore and roll my eyes. cryptic posts like "why does the world hate me" or "can't even talk about it" i just sigh and say "Ok, sounds good" if someone has a problem and would like to actually talk about it i will be there to talk. otherwise couldn't care less.

Depends on the situation, but I try to steer clean
