It's a hot, muggy day & you're dying of thirst! What do you drink, either your own or store bought?
What would you drink?

Alcoholic? I like a Tom Collins with elderflower syrup or liqueur, OR White Sangria
Non would be Water, or some sort of iced green tea.

Whatever you think is going to refresh you the most. What is the ideal drink someone could hand you when you're just dying of thirst, hot & sweaty?

It can be whatever you want, although, health wise, I would question the alcohol! But, this is your choice after all & I can see the appeal of an icy margarita, etc.

I don't normally like water that much, but if it's hot and I'm dying of thirst it seems to be the best option.

I don't like water, either, unless it's carbonated!

If I'm really dying of thirst & it's hot & muggy, it must be because I was gardening all day! During that time, I try to drink, but I forget to eat, so I have become partial to an ice cold orange juice & follow it with carbonated water to wash down the sweetness. The sugar in the juice helps revive me, but I have to drink the carbonated water after because it's so sweet! Carbonated water is a good way to re-hydrate &, unlike flat water, it doesn't sit like lead in my gut, which is why it's the only way I drink water.

Water. It's the only thing that will really quench your thirst. Some drinks just leave you thirstier.

I love a cold beer! That, or iced peppermint tea.

Oh, the iced peppermint tea sounds wonderful! I LOVE MetroMint water & wish it were more affordable! That is some seriously refreshing stuff. I try to make my own, but it depends on what I have growing & it's easier to buy it, although I keep getting sticker shock!

Bottled water or maybe Sunny D. I'd prefer a shirley temple or cherry limeade, but I'm much too lazy.
