I have been watching the weather channel and the news all night, hope nobody out there is suffering from the hurricane. While Irene was wreaking havoc, what were you doing, care to share your experience?

It didn't affect us at all. I do hope everyone else is ok. We saw this morning that at least ten people had died and that NYC's public transportation systems had been shut down in fear of the potential damage.

I'm watching Fox news, the latest fatality is 20, and it's still so stormy along the coast in some states.

So sad for the people who lost loved ones and possesions. I helped organized a blood drive for the local M D Anderson Cancer Hospital so I spent the rest of the day being woozy from giving blood.

Our daughter was with her grandmother, we were both off work so we stayed in and had some great sex. Don't get that chance too often during the day now so it was pretty nice.

I've got some friends in that area that I'm pretty worried about.

I slept during the whole thing, but all we got was some wind and moderate rain fall.
Sorry to hear about those who lost their lives though.

I wasn't in the path of the hurricane so I went to a music festival.

Studying in New Mexico; it's super stormy outside, so it feels like I'm closer to the storm!

My boyfriend and I put on our rain jackets and went to the coast to watch the storm surge. We got some great pictures and video. Not much damage here, but lots of flooding in the cities I grew up in and went to college in. One of the women who died was in my hometown. I guess the river behind her house had flooded and she went outside and was gone.

I read a book! No tv or internet!

I am currently visiting family near DC so I stayed inside and read a book and hoped that the power wouldn't go out. Back home in New england they have no power and there is more damage.

we did nothing, as we are on the west coast. But I did keep everyone in the path of the storm in my prayers.

I wasn't in the hurricane. Do not see much of bad storms like that in Ohio.
