Oh goodness, I don't remember. I do know when I was a young driver I could fill up the car for $20. That was in the late 80's. Those were the days.

$0.78, 1984. I remember asking Dad about what the superscript "9" at the end of the price meant.

I can remember when $.61 sent a shock to the system. I think it had been like $.35-39 before that. Used to fill up for $5-7 in the early 80s or late 70s

Cheapest gas was .47 cents. Used to walk to gas station to get fuel for lawn mower. For two dollars a summer I could mown lawns for 50 cents a piece and make good money for an 8 year old.

I remember seeing it hit $.99 when I was a wee child. Since I've been driving, the lowest I saw was about $1.39

I remember going on errands with my dad as a kid, including the gas station. I remember waiting with him in gas lines back in the 70s. The cheapest gas price I can remember was 48¢/gallon.

i didn't start driving until i was 19, so i never payed any mind to gas prices until then. However the cheapest it's been since i started driving was 2.99 at a walmart last year. I wish i has filled up my tank that day instead fo waiting because at the end of the week it was back to 3.20-something.

I remember my mom paying like $1.50. I don't remember the lowest I actually paid. When I started driving, I had a gas guzzling car, so I always paid a lot.

In the late 90s when I had just started driving I remember seeing 0.79 one time. I think it was usually around 0.90 in those days. Sigh...makes me feel old.

I can remember 25 cents a gallon and even remember the commercial advertising it. I think it was Texaco. That was way back when the attendants wore clean white pressed uniforms woth the sharp caps.
