Wang and ink? I just had to click it.
I actually use ball-point pens.

Any that work (finding out your pen hates you and feels like not working anymore halfway through writing a poem is enough to make a person cry), my best pen is a Bic Atlantis that I got for free a while back.

I'm more picky about the size/shape of my pen than the type. I like the larger, ergonomic pens because they're more comfortable to write with.

I have a Cross pen that I use almost exclusively. I do this because I can buy the broad (1.3mm) refills for it. I like broad ballpoints and I can't even find pens that are 1.3mm. For some reason I seem to write neater with those. The medium or thin tips make my handwriting look like the chicken scratch it is.

I love ball point pens! I have used ink in a bottle before, it is hard.

ballpoint...but has to be medium and black

I'm a pen-o-phile. (Sounds dirty.) I have some Cross, a Mont Blanc. No one's pen is safe near me. I unconsciously claim any pen in the vicinity. I like the ergonomic ones -some of them. I like the idea of the quills but they are too slow a process for me. I write quickly in a sort of barely legible shorthand as if I'm in too much of a hurry to include all the letters. I prefer the fine points for art but have been known to write fiction/poetry with a sharpie if I'm impatient and it's what is at hand.

I have a small obsession with office supplies lol

I only use my trusty Pilot G2 0.7 pens.
I'm pretty unhappy if I have to write with any other type of pen, I guess I'm kind of obsessed with that one particular kind.

The one I like best are needle point roller-ball like the pilot v5 link however I tend to use what ever is cheap/around which usually means the ubiquitous ball point pen.

Most of the pens around here are ballpoint.

I don't like writing with ball-point pens, but they're the most commonly available and cheapest pens (everytime you go somewhere and they ask you to fill out something, like a doctor's office, they will offer you ball point pens). I like the pens that have archival inks and flow really smoothly, and ink distributes evenly.

Ballpoint pens, Fountain pens, Rollerball pens, and E-pens will do for me.

I actually prefer gel pens - the black ones, not the sparkly colored ones (though they're fun in their own way). I used to get bad muscle pains in my hand from all the notes some of my high school teachers had us take, and pressing down to get the ink flowing from my erasable pens made it worse. Gel pens flow with very little pressure, so they're my favorites now.

I love felt-tip writing pens, such as the Sharpie pen. Writing up charts and the like is so much nicer (and neater) when I have a felt-tip. Ball-points are great for scribbling, but my handwriting is small so it ends up looking very scratchy.

I'm left handed, so I need fine point pens or it'll smudge all over my hands.
I love the marker pens by Staedtler! Great marker pens for lefties!

mostly ballpoint, but a lot of my art inking pens are felt tip, just very fine felt. And my tablet of course. I don't "write" that often with it though.
