I suddenly realized that I don't own any decent clothes, other then a black skirt and a number of blouses, I bought for interviews.
Even though my present position is considered professional, my work outfit consists of jeans, khakis and various T'S. In cold weather; topped by sweaters.
Just wondering if I am unique in this?

I am still a student but I didn't select that option because I still dress like I am going to work the majority of the time.
I am a business student so I want to keep my image professional and clean. I believe that it helps me keep my demeanor with my goals in mind. I also like to grab up networking opportunities or future job possibilities wherever I can, and you never know when that will happen!
I also learned recently that a lot about my body language and clothes were sending off the wrong signal. I already know that the majority of communication is nonverbal (98% I think?) but I never realized that tank tops and shorter shorts (not booty short but close) send off a "Hey, look at me! I'm sexual!" type of message.
Not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that, but when I am trying to build a professional image I don't want to be viewed as promiscuous.
