What's your opinion on how the world is run with technology?

I like technology it makes life easier and can achieve goals much faster. However, with all the benefits technology has in today's world I think it's making people very lazy and less intelligent. I feel that tasks that you had to think about and work hard to accomplish are so mindlessly done today that people do not appreciate the "understanding" of what they might be doing.

I'm only 25 years old and first hand watched as the internet age exploded and cell phones became a common feature to a person's wardrobe and as much as I like the convenience of the technology I think it's doing a lot of bad in the world. Does anyone agree?

I love technology, without it long distance relationships would be one giant pain in the ass!
And you know what...I'm addicted to cell phones with full qwerty keyboards now too. :3
It's so much faster than hitting the number keys two or three times to get to the right letter.
Plus mp3 players let you carry almost endless amounts of media in your pocket to entertain yourself with.

I heard once that Google actually makes you smarter. It was said something like this. Your brain is like a computer, the more stuff it has programmed into it the slower it works. So since we have to remember less because we can just Google it, our brains work faster.

Not that I fully agree but it does make some sense. What I find crazy is just how fast technology advances. My top of the line laptop is obsolete just two years later.
