I don't have a signature gem, but I prefer brightly coloured jewels, with the exception on opals/moonstone.

Adore emeralds - I seem to be amassing a collection of fake ones. My bucket list includes owning a real Depression-era emerald statement ring someday (like something Wallis Simpson would have worn before she became the Duchess of Windsor). I have a fake one in the style I want, but would prefer to have a real one all the same.

I also love amber - not technically a stone, but who cares? I get real amber instead of fake, though, so that collection isn't as large.

I like a lot of gemstones but sapphires are my absolute favorite I think it says something that i really want one of those instead of a diamond if and when I ever get engaged/married. My birthstone is amethyst tho

My signature gem is pearls. Real ones are preferred for jewellery, of course, but I'll buy tops with fake pearl accents, or hair pieces decorated with fake pearls.

My wedding band has diamonds and Yogo Sapphires on it. I have a collection of raw sapphires from the mines around here. My original engagement ring was an emerald, but the band broke-made it a beautiful necklace.

I like Topaz mostly because it is my birthstone. But I love blue stones (aquamarine/sapphire) in general. The ring I wear every day is aquamarines and diamonds.

Sapphires are sortof a thing with the women in my family. My Pop gave my Gran a piece of sapphire jewelry after they were married. My dad gave my mom a ring with a star sapphire after they were married. My engagement ring (which will become my wedding ring once we're married) has a green sapphire in it. I wouldn't say it's my signature stone, but it does have meaning to me. Especially the green ones, which are supposed to help with positive/negative energies, help keep you grounded and connected to the earth (not just physically), and promotes a healthy heart chakra.

My birthstone is amethyst and I like it, but I absolutely adore opal! I remember when I fell in love with opal, I was only 7 and my mom bought me opal earrings. She still has an opal ring that I love! It's just so gorgeous! I love turuoise and diamonds and aquamarine, but nothing beats opal!
