What's your favorite kind of cheese?

Contributor: sunflower sunflower
I used to LOVE Applewood smoked cheddar but I can't find it anywhere now.

Kerrygold brand Dubliner cheese is my favorite ever. It's slightly expensive but so worth it! It's aged cheese from grassfed cows... I hate blue cheese and gorgonzola type stuff because it's gross and pungent tasting and smelling. Dubliner is just excellent and has a distinct but not nasty or overwhelming flavor.

And of course swiss and sharp cheddar for sandwiches.

What's your favorite cheese?

Nice to know the Dubliner is good. I already buy their butter, and I saw their cheese the last time I was at Costco. I didn't get it because I wasn't sure if I'd like it. What would you compare it to? Cheddar?

Medium cheddar; I can eat that stuff for an hour! I'm also fond of ricotta in pasta dishes.

We stumbled across the Kerrygold Dubliner cheese a few months ago, and both love it.

Anybody try Cotswold? It's made by blending chives and spring onions into Double Gloucester & basically tastes like a somewhat sharp cheddar with this really tasty, mild, oniony note, superb!

I love smoked cheeses! Gouda, provolone & mozzarella are even better smoked! Oh goodness, don't get me started on cheese, my favorite food of all time! I often just eat cheese & crackers for my meal. Throw in some fruit & I am a happy camper! The only cheeses I don't like are the extremely pungent ones, the other than cow's milk cheeses & mold cultured ones since I'm allergic to mold. Other than that, I am a cheese fiend! Thank God I'm not lactose intolerant!
