What's your favorite "cut off" fake profanity?

Contributor: spiced spiced
We were watching some dumb TV show or other last night and had to laugh at the show's use of "cut off" profanity - that's where a character will start to say something that's not allowed on broadcast TV, but cut it off without finishing. They must've used this old trick half a dozen times during the show. I always find it amusing.

How about you? Did you ever notice this before? Which one of these is your favorite - or do you have another?

I don't cut off my profanities, it would be rude to leave my sentence incomplete ... but I guess sometimes when I'm so angry or shocked I say "That fucking-!"

shut the front door for the win!

I know this type of "swearing" is juvenile but it always makes me a laugh.

I love the way they censor "ass****" because they censor the "hole" part, which isn't the profane part, but not the "ass" part, which is. Hole isn't a bad word, but ass is, unless the word is asshole, in which case they switch? Never made sense to me, and it always makes me laugh.

"Oh, for--!" is my favorite, both personally and on TV. If I'm in comfortable company it'll be "Oh, for fuck's sake." I can save myself by changing it to "Oh, for crying out loud," or "Oh, for Pete's sake" in more polite company. If it's on TV it's pretty funny.

Actually, I find it funnier when they bleep out words that aren't even that bad and then a minute later they allow a worse one through. xD

I find the cut offs funny. Listen for the fill ins! So many times they change the words and the voice doesn't belong to the actor on screen!!
