I am loving the lil eos ones that are shaped like an egg. What about you?
What's your favorite chapstick?

I wan't to try that eos brand. I like cherry Chapstick. Or Honeytrap by Lush.

I rather like the Crazy Girl lip valm that EF carries or regular chapstick brand. Eos is meh

I like the scent of eos but it feels a little gritty to me. I use quite a few different types of chapstick. I have a couple different lip conditioners as well. One of my favorites is by Fresh. It's a little pricey but feels great!

Burt's Bees (the regular one with the mint tingle) and many of the flavors from Crazy Rumors, pricey but worth it.

I like Bonnie Bell, especially the Coca-Cola flavor.
04/30/2013
Carmex! Haha

I have a locally made organic chapstick that's made from coconut oil, avocado butter, beeswax and almond oil. It's by far the best chapstick I've ever used.

I don't use chapstick. I hate the feel of stuff on my lips, and my partner hates kissing me with stuff on my lips lol.

Burts Bees original or medicated are my favorites.

I can't remember the brand. And I peeled the label off the stick because it was already coming off!

I only use one chapstick & the rest of the time I like lip gloss. But I do like using my chapstick for little sores and dryness. It's Blistex Simple & Sensitive or something like that

Those are fun but I don't find it very refreshing (I have the mint one!) I like Chapstick brand cherry and "original" ones.

Softlips was my favorite until I stumbled into making my own. I feel like it's pretty good stuff, because my husband LOATHES chapsticks of any kind. He'd rather his lips crack and bleed, but he enjoys using mine, because it actually fixes the issue without leaving a waxy residue everywhere. Lips just feel moisturized and soft. And I don't use any sweetener, just lemongrass and rosemary essential oil, so it doesn't taste funny.
It's really simple if you ever feel like being crafty.
Soy wax (it's softer, but gets absorbed into the skin more easily)
Coconut oil
another carrier oil like grapeseed, almond, or hazelnut
essential oil
Basically two parts wax to one part everything else. Meaning twice as much wax as all of your oils combined. You can find really exact recipes all over the place online, but I have more fun experimenting myself to find the right consistency. It's not exactly rocket science or the art of the souffle. Too soft, add more wax, too firm, add more oil. Easy peasy.
Melt it all, then add essential oil, and pour into a tin. I found nifty sliding ones that seal off pretty well, because GA is hot as hell and it can melt easily. But apparently Altoid tins also work in a pinch. If you want a firmer result, use beeswax instead.

Softlips has weird chemicals and BHT in it so I stopped using it. I think I was also eating the sunscreen which is probably bad. I think I want to try making my own. The sliding thing would be really helpful. Thanks for the tip!

The ball-shaped eos one I get from here.

Right now I just use pure shea butter, but I looove Booda Butter. I just don't buy it very much because I have to get it online.

Clinique Repairwear Intensive Lip Treatment is the best one I've ever tried. It's great under lipstick too.

I'm loving the cupcake-flavored ChapSticks at the moment.

That looks really nice. I'm gonna have to go to Sephora one day and look at it. I love Sephora!
