Because I am a big sci-fi fan, watching things like Fringe especially, they often talk about ones "life force" or "soul" as an energy that lives on after death.

One of my fears is not existing after death at all. Sure we are made of stardust, and the atoms in our bodies will continue on. But it's more of the consciousness/soul I fear of no longer existing. It may sound weird to many people but it is what it is.
