The longest for me was about two weeks I believe. Or just a little over that. It was for an EEG.

Only for hours at a time. My very first hospital visit was only a few years ago due to my endometriosis. I didn't know that's what it was at the time and went to many doctors and wasn't diagnosed for 4 years! I think I've only been in the hospital 2 times I think. Possibly 3. I Went to ER for the extreme pain once and then back a few years later for my surgery.

I've never been in the hospital for myself, for which I am thankful.

2 1/2 weeks. I was in a severe auto accident. The first week I don't remember and the subsequent week and a half is spotty. They kept me immobile so my ribs would knit (7 broken, same side and one multiple breaks). Then dealt with the shoulders, head, and other internal stuff.

8 long grueling days.

I had a kidney infection that didn't present and symptoms until I was close to croaking. I was a couple of days shy from septic. The infection somehow (or I was just unlucky) and I got pneumonia as well.

I felt and looked like hell, but the Radiologist tried to set me up with his son. That was funny. He also took more pictures of my insides than they usually do, so I had no problem talking with him

I was in for about 4 days, but my memory is alittle fuzzy. My mom told me that was the standard practice back then for newborns.

2 days when I had my c-section with my son. They wanted to keep me longer but my son was rushed by ambulance to a neonatal intensive care unit in a town an hour and a half away. They let me go be with him.

He turns 7 in April.

Twice I was admitted for about four days.

The first was back when I was 18 and had major reconstructive surgery on my jaws at the request of my orthodontist at the time. (Took 'em out, repositioned them, extended my chin, decided to take care of my wisdom teeth while they were in there, and wired everything back together.) The good news is that having your jaws wired shut for months on end means easy weight loss. The bad news? Right after I woke up from my meds I started my period. Greeaaat.

The second was a two years back when I had my son. No complications, just the standard routine.

I think it was back in 2006 about 5 days, I was under a lot of stress and it triggered my schizophrenia so I checked myself into the behavioral health unit at the local hospital when it got to a point where I was afraid of myself.
Since then I've learned how to keep it in check though so I'm pretty proud of that. ^_^

Thankfully, I've only had three out-patient surgeries and haven't had to spend the night, which is good, or else they'd have to medicate me just for me to get any sleep. Hospitals make me so uncomfortable
