Mount Antero in Colorado at 14,276. We went there looking for Aquamarine and had one hell of day driving up the old mine trail to the top. The truck was gasping for air the whole trip. lol We didn't find any stones but we did come back with some awesome pic's and memories.

Sounds like fun. I bet you had some beautiful views to make up for not finding any stones!

Wow, that's a lot of driving!
I totally forgot I've been to Estes Park, Colorado -- that should be the highest elevation for me at 7,522 feet.
I live at 3500 feet above sea level and have climbed to the top of Granite Peak here in MT. It is over 12000 feet and it took two full days. This was a steep one!! I used to do a lot of climbing and such before I got in a car accident...now I just do light peaks and trails.
I'm not sure what the elevation was exactly, but it was in Breckenridge Colorado and I actually got sick from it since I had spent the previous few days at sea level in texas.
